The green shoots of common sense

Well, it's a start. After months of near-silence Barack Obama has made a statement criticising misdirected large subsidies in farming while Pascal Lamy (haven't heard from him for a long time)  claims that finishing the stalled world trade talks  could provide a stimulus during the international depression. Amen to that
