Thanks for the encouragement! Too right it looks like a good idea - the BBC website this morning reports that the Local Government Association agrees with us too ("Clock change 'would save lives'"). They want a three-year experiment with moving to double summer time, and keeping BST instead of Winter (Greenwich Mean) Time.

It can't come a minute (hour) too soon for me, but if you look back over my blogs throughout last year (four to date on the topic of 'clocks back and forward') you'll see there are still lots of people who disagree or don't follow the stats - and the reasons for their concerns will have to be addressed of course. But it has to be done.
